Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom is the most famous amusement park in the world. The park located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida (a suburb of Orlando, Florida) welcomed over 20 million visitors from around the world in 2018. While the actual entrance to the park is at Lake Buena Vista, which is nearly 25,000 wide. The acreage (about 100 km²) of the Magic Kingdom actually spills over and is located mainly in the neighboring Bay Lake.


The theme park is wholly owned by The Walt Disney Company. The park opened in 1971, but planning for the park was started in 1965 by Walt Disney himself.
